American Core Veterans at the
– Brotherhood, Bikes & Milwaukee Tradition
This year, American Core Veterans rolled into Milwaukee for one of the most respected custom motorcycle gatherings in the country — the Mama Tried Show. And just like everything we do, it wasn’t just about the bikes. It was about connection, healing, and honoring the culture that brings us together.
More Than a Motorcycle Show
The Mama Tried Show isn’t your typical polished expo. It’s raw. It’s authentic. It’s builders, riders, and creators from all over the country bringing their passion indoors during a Wisconsin winter. From vintage choppers to performance baggers and hand-built one-offs, the show represents the heartbeat of real motorcycle culture.
For our veterans and first responders, being in that environment matters. There’s something powerful about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people who understand grit, hard work, and loyalty — values we live every day at American Core.
A Visit to the
While in Milwaukee, our crew also made time to visit the Harley-Davidson Museum — a place that tells the story of American freedom on two wheels.
Walking through the history of Harley-Davidson isn’t just about motorcycles. It’s about innovation, resilience, and the American spirit. For many of our veterans, Harley-Davidson represents more than transportation — it represents transition, therapy, and community after service.
Standing in that space, surrounded by over a century of history, reminds us why we do what we do.
Why Events Like This Matter
American Core Veterans creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences for veterans and first responders. Trips like Mama Tried aren’t vacations — they’re opportunities:
To reconnect with purpose
To strengthen brotherhood and sisterhood
To build relationships within the motorcycle community
To show that veterans are still leading from the front
As an OIF/OEF veteran-led nonprofit, we know firsthand how important community is after service. The motorcycle world has become a bridge — connecting past service with present purpose.
Thank You, Milwaukee
To everyone who shook hands, shared stories, and welcomed our veterans — thank you. Milwaukee showed up with open arms.
We’ll keep showing up too.
Hard work. Brotherhood. No handouts. Just opportunity.
