Just People. The Mission of American Core
Deep in the heart of Texas, beneath the flags, above the noise, and alongside the forgotten, American Core stands tall. We are a nonprofit made up of veterans, first responders, and everyday patriots who believe in one simple truth: when the storm hits, you help.
From rallying veterans to ride cross-country in honor of those who served, to delivering boots-on-the-ground aid after natural disasters, American Core has never been about fanfare. It’s about community, accountability, and showing up when it matters most.
From the Road to the Ruins
Our work started with a motorcycle and a mission: to give our veterans purpose, connection, and a way to heal outside the walls of the VA. What began as veteran rides and charity events has grown into something greater: a network of Americans willing to put their lives on pause to help others find their footing.
That’s exactly what happened when the floods came to Kerr County, Texas.
Homes gone. Roads washed out. Families displaced.
American Core pivoted fast. We canceled our veteran hosting plans at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, a sacred tradition for us, to put everything we had into flood relief. Trucks rolled out. Volunteers deployed. Donations repurposed. Because our mission has never been about the spotlight. It’s about service.
Search & Rescue Meets Service & Recovery
Every morning now starts at the Kerrville American Legion, where our teams check in, grab gear, and head into the field. We’ve been able to assist in locating family members lost in the wreckage, uncovered remnants of homes, photographs, and pieces of people’s lives that deserve dignity and attention.
We’re not relying on the news cycle.
We’re here, with our hands in the mud and our hearts full of fight.
How You Can Help
We can’t do this alone. Whether you donate, volunteer, or just share our story — your support keeps us moving.
